Anyone who knows me, knows that during my many travels to Atlanta I always have to stop by Gladys' at least 2x. And this trip was no different. The food was freakin awesome as usual and the ambiance was very warm & welcoming. Of course I ordered the Midnight Train which consists of 3 wings & 1 waffle. It sounds like it wouldn't be enough but it is very satisfying considering they're jumbo wings and a gi-normous waffle(and yes I made this word up), I have yet to eat all of it during one sitting. Make sure you get a side of Mac & Cheese as well, they prepare it with garlic so bring a mint, lol! I give Gladys 5 licks(for being finger licking good) for flavor, experience, presentation, portions & ambience!
I love love love Gladys Knights. That restaurant is definitely on the list of things I miss about living in Atlanta. Funny, because I used to order the Midnight Train and the wings are Fu-fighters, seasoned oh so perfectly. Thanks for the nostalgia!
